The Mersey Maritime Industry Awards (MMIAs) are a firm fixture in the calendar of the UK maritime industry. The next iteration of the MMIAs comes as the regional cluster organisation, Mersey Maritime celebrates its 20th year of work. The 2022 awards are set to be the biggest and most high profile yet within the spectacular surroundings of Liverpool Cathedral. The event will be held on Thursday 10th November 2022.
The UK’s leading maritime awards ceremony celebrates the achievements of the industry’s most outstanding companies and individuals. Applications are encouraged from any maritime or maritime related organisation, business and/or individual that operate in, or support, the North West region. The theme this year is ‘Our Time is Now’ with a focus on the bright future that lies ahead for the industry.

It is expected that 2022 will be the biggest yet with more than 600 industry professionals likely to be in attendance. The closing date for submitting award entries is Monday 5th September 2022.
Every application received is assessed by Mersey Maritime’s industry judging panel who select the finalists for each category following a vigorous process. The winner of each category will once again be determined by the industry itself, with an industry voting platform launching in early October 2022.
