DIVERSITY champion AWARD

Open to a business, charity or organisation of any size, the winner will be able to demonstrate particular commitment to achieving equality/diversity within their own business environment or wider industry. Supporting evidence should be provided to illustrate a strong and demonstrable commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Open to a business, charity or organisation of any size, this award will be made to one that has demonstrated true commitment to looking after their employees and/or has made a significant contribution to supporting the future skills requirement of the maritime industry. The business will be able to evidence its dedication to personal and professional development, staff satisfaction and specific HR initiatives to create a supportive and engaging working environment.

logistics & trade excellence award

Open to a business, charity or organisation of any size, this award will be made to one that can demonstrate innovation, efficiency, and excellence in logistics management and national/international trade. Supporting evidence should be provided to showcase how the organisation is driving the future of logistics and trade across our region and beyond.

mARITIME AMBASSADOR AWARD

The recipient of this award is chosen by our judges, to recognise the outstanding dedication and achievement in the maritime sector over the course of the life and career of the nominee.

MARITIME CAMPAIGN OF THE YEAR

The Maritime Campaign of the Year Award showcases initiatives that have made a significant impact on the maritime industry, specifically within the North West region. This award highlights campaigns that demonstrate creativity, effectiveness, and tangible results in supporting the goals and interests of the maritime sector. Whether advocating for sustainability, innovation, or driving awareness, the winning campaign will have successfully engaged stakeholders, inspired action, and contributed to the continued growth and of the North West maritime community.

MARITIME PERSONALITY OF THE YEAr

The Maritime Personality of the Year Award recognises an exceptional individual whose leadership, vision, and contributions have left a lasting mark on the maritime industry, particularly within the North West region. Whether through ground-breaking achievements, influence, or leadership, the recipient of this award will have demonstrated outstanding dedication to driving progress and fostering a thriving maritime community in the North West region. Nominations are welcome.

net zero champion AWARD

This category is intended to recognise those businesses/organisations that are leading the way in addressing issues around Net Zero. Entries will need to show how the business/organisation has demonstrated leadership in driving forward net zero progress, as well as their involvement in the wider green agenda.

positive impact AWARD

This award will be made to a business, maritime charitable organisation, or other enterprise whose remit or business model is to bring about positive measurable change, whether this is to the lives or living conditions of individuals, the community or in terms of campaigns, projects and initiatives that are changing perceptions about the industry.

Rising Star Award

This award will be made to someone under the age of 30 whose contribution has made a real and positive impact on the business in which they are employed.

Nominations should be made by the business on behalf of the employee they would like to put forward. Nominees can be at any stage in their career or training and may be working in any role within the business, including apprentices.

All nominees for this award will require a face-to-face interview on Tuesday 9th July in Liverpool City Centre (venue details TBC).

This award will be made to a small or medium sized business that has demonstrated a real understanding of its target market, showing impressive growth, or growth potential and sustainability in terms of one or more of the following:

*Small or Medium sized Enterprise, i.e. maximum 249 employees and turnover not exceeding EUR 50million (European Commission definition)

This award will be made to a business, charity or organisation that has demonstrated innovation or delivered/developed a technical or technological project, product or process. The business must clearly show the innovation and technology impact in terms of one or more of the following:
