Regional cluster organisation, Mersey Maritime, are delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Waterhouse as their new Chairman. The Group Corporate Affairs Director for APCL, and former Royal Navy Regional Commander for Northern England, has stepped up from Board Member to Chairman following the departure of former Chair, John Hulmes.
With an illustrious career background, Phil brings unparalleled experience and leadership to the helm. Having transitioned successfully from his prominent role as the RN’s Regional Commodore, Phil’s journey from a Junior Sailor in 1982 to his recent appointment with Mersey Maritime reflects a lifetime dedicated to service and logistics expertise.
Commenting on his appointment, Phil Waterhouse said: “The maritime sector plays a crucial role in the region’s vitality, and I am hugely enthusiastic about supporting its further growth and sustainability.
