Mersey Maritime is delighted to announce the finalists for the highly anticipated Mersey Maritime Industry Awards 2025 (MMIA25).
In its eleventh year, the MMIA25 promises to once again be a celebration of excellence and innovation within the maritime industry. This year, a record number of outstanding companies and individuals submitted applications, leading to a highly competitive finalist stage and marking a significant achievement for the UK’s maritime sector.
The MMIAs are widely recognised as the UK’s leading regional maritime awards, celebrating the achievements of the industry’s most outstanding companies and individuals across the Liverpool City Region and the wider North West.
This year’s finalists were chosen following a rigorous evaluation process led by a panel of 12 distinguished judges, bringing together national, regional and local industry experts, business leaders and government representatives.
Mersey Maritime will launch the final stage of the judging process, the industry voting platform, on Wednesday 1st October 2025. This platform will provide local, national, and international industry peers with the opportunity to cast their votes for the eventual winners, who will be unveiled at the awards dinner on Thursday 6th November 2025 at Liverpool Cathedral – book your place HERE
Ruth Wood, Chief Executive of Mersey Maritime commented: “This year’s award entries have raised the bar once again, giving our judging panel an incredibly challenging job in selecting the finalists who now move forward to the industry vote. The calibre of submissions highlights the outstanding innovation, growth and positive impact being delivered across our sector, with achievements that make a real difference to our coastal community.
We are grateful to our judges for their time and expertise, and to our valued sponsors whose support enables us to shine a spotlight on the very best of the Mersey maritime industry here in the North West.
Congratulations to all our finalists and we look forward to seeing your success in the next stage of the competition.”
