Board members are elected for a 3-year period of office. No Board member currently receives remuneration for acting as a Director of Mersey Maritime.
Although a not-for-profit organisation, the accounts of Mersey Maritime are annually audited by Haines Watts as well as being subject to scrutiny by the Board. The salary of the Chief Executive is set by a remuneration committee and subject to approval by the full Board.
