Can AI help or hinder progress in mitigating climate risk across the Liverpool City Region’s maritime and logistics sector?
As part of Liverpool City Region Innovation and Investment Week 2026, this event delivered by Carbon Happy World will examine the growing climate risks facing ports and logistics infrastructure and the role AI could play in building resilience. Against the backdrop of the UK Climate Change Committee’s annual report, the session will explore where responsibility sits across industry, government and infrastructure stakeholders, and what action is needed next.
Gary Adlen, CEO of Carbon Happy World, will offer a practical perspective on how emerging technologies can help the maritime sector respond to climate risk. He will also introduce his company’s digital nervous system platform and its potential to support resilience, better decision-making and long-term sustainability across the Liverpool City Region.
