During this event, guests will hear from Dr. Thomas Beard who is a chartered engineer and the clean maritime lead at BMT UK and the BMT Global lead on alternative fuels. He has a PhD in Hydrogen Safety from Loughborough University, following this he has spent several years in industry working on a variety of aspects of ship and submarine design and build. He is a member of the two UK maritime hydrogen working groups, co-chairing the National Maritime group, and is on the steering group for a research program on ammonia in maritime as well as others. He has published and presented numerous papers on the topic of alternative fuels for maritime and naval platforms.
The whole subject of ‘future fuels’ in the maritime industry is one of the most topical just now. Join us for this excellent opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of where the current debate is up to within the industry and pose any questions you might have.
