At Mersey Maritime, we host our monthly Face-2-Face events on the first Tuesday of every month and for our May Face-2-Face we will be on the road with our second offsite event being hosted by our members, Stanlow Terminals.
Stanlow Terminals are a leading biofuels hub, offering storage, blending and logistics solutions to support the UK’s ongoing adoption of more sustainable fuels for transport.
Located on the Mersey Estuary within the Port of Liverpool, Stanlow Terminals are a critical piece of national infrastructure. A port asset, with eight jetties and deep water facilities, Stanlow Terminals offers flexible and efficient import and export of bulk liquids. Their multi-modal distribution network includes Europe’s largest road terminal, rail connectivity, excellent links to the UK’s motorway network and pipeline connections to deliver energy products into the UK. Stanlow Terminals offers unrivalled connectivity for their customers.
Stanlow Terminals is part of Essar and this tour offers the opportunity to hear about Essar’s energy transition plans, particularly about their plans for their site in Ellesmere Port. This site is home to Essar Oil (UK), Stanlow Terminals and Vertex Hydrogen (the UK’s first mover on low carbon hydrogen production).
