Correct as of 17/03/20
Mersey Maritime would like to reassure all our members that, like all responsible businesses, we are monitoring closely the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the current UK Government advice.
We plan to hold our Members’ Surgery tomorrow (18th March 2020) and remain open for business. We urge all of our members to follow Government advice/guidelines and, as such, to take every reasonable step to protect their staff and wider contacts in the weeks and months ahead.
As it currently stands, we are highly unlikely to hold our April Face-2-Face event in the usual format. We are looking at alternative ways to keep this core feature of our membership calendar going which it is hoped will include an online, live streaming of the event. Future Face-2-Face activities will be confirmed on an event by event basis. Please look out for announcements on our social media accounts and on the website.
At present, the Mersey Maritime office remains open but with modified staff cover. It is highly likely that all staff will revert to home working by the end of this week. As such, the best way to contact any member of the team will be via their mobile or email. Details are below:
